What are Wrinkles?

Wrinkles emerge as a natural facet of aging, characterised by thinning and drying of the skin, alongside a decline in elastin production. As we mature, our skin's defence mechanisms diminish, making it more susceptible to wrinkles, creases, and lines forming.

Additionally, repeated muscle contractions play a significant role in the development of facial wrinkles. Known as "dynamic wrinkles," these lines surface only during muscle activity. Left untreated, dynamic wrinkles can evolve into "static wrinkles," becoming permanently ingrained in the skin over time.

What steps can be taken to prevent wrinkles?

When your face moves, you may notice lines called dynamic wrinkles. Over time, with repeated movements, these lines can become deeper, forming static wrinkles.

Cosmetic Aesthetics are designed to prevent static wrinkles and soften and smooth existing fine lines. As a preventive measure, it's best to start this treatment early.

These aesthetics help soften lines and wrinkles, reducing their noticeable severity.
